New Providence, N.J. — Panasonic Electric Works has introduced the LF-G relay, which is well-suited for inverter applications in photovoltaic power generation systems and uninterruptible power systems (UPSs). Other applications include home appliances and office equipment.

The LF-G relay provides a 2.5-kV surge breakdown voltage between contacts (EN61810-1 certified) and is compliant with the European photovoltaic standard VDE0126. The power relay offers a 1 Form A contact arrangement with a high capacity rating of 22 A, 250 Vac and low coil holding voltage with a 280-mW equivalent power consumption. High insulation resistance is a key feature: creepage distance between contact and coil terminal is a minimum of 8 mm, clearance distance is a minimum of 6.5 mm and surge breakdown voltage is 6 kV.

Pricing: $2.86 for a 12-V type in quantities of 1,000.
Availability: From stock to 12 weeks.
